About Us
The International Relations Society is an undergraduate club at New York University’s College of Arts and Science.
The IR Society partners with NYU’s Politics Department to bring together students who are passionate about international affairs, economics, and global news events. Through panels and discussions with some of the most prominent voices in politics and international relations, we aim to encourage interest in – and knowledge of – international affairs beyond the classroom. Our past events have explored women’s rights, education and immigration in Afghanistan, human trafficking, landmines, and more. IR Society alumni have gone on to intern and work for the UN, Morgan Stanley, the Council on Foreign Relations, Human Rights Watch, CNN, MSNBC, and more!
IR INSIDER is New York University’s student-run international relations publication, powered by the IR Society.
At the INSIDER, we produce up-to-date news articles on the day’s most important global issues and topics. With nine regional sections, two “ideas'' sections, and event reporting, the INSIDER is a journalistic hub and go-to source for the international affairs you need to know. Bringing together writers and editors from a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, majors, and regional interests, the INSIDER tells today’s top stories— from Baghdad to Berlin — through an innovative and always reliable lens.
